Haven't been here for a bit. We sat at the back where the big Fremlins sign used to be back in the day. Busy.

Nice pub this. Not many in but then it was a blustery wet day out. Bit of Blur on the stereo competing with some Michael Jackson coming out of the kitchen. Was offered a taster without asking too.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Cotswold Spring - OSM (Old Sodbury Mild)3.90ExcellentThis was badged a bit weirdly but I'm sure it's what it is. Anyway, nice chocolate bitter earthy beer that's very dark brown in colour. Very good.

early evening - cold drizzle outside - cozy inside - log burner on the go, a scattering of drinkers - good ambience

Jane and Isabel went to see a "Willy and Hugh" exhibition in the Library and at £4 an adult I passed. £3.20 on a pint seemed better value. Loverly pub. Lots of hops on the wall. Handfull of good natured locals in.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Banks's - Young's London Original (was Bitter) - previously brewed in Bedford and at Wychwood3.70GoodReasonable condition. Tight sparkler. Lots of caramel and hop resin. Probably could have done without the sparkler

We sat at the back in the eating area as the pub was quite busy. Nice pub this. It once had a Fremlins board up at the back, but that was 20 years ago.
