1800ish and start of our Margate micropub crawl. Friendly and welcoming, we chatted to a few locals gathered around the bar before occupying a couple of tables by the entrance.

| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - Green and Gold | 4.80 | | Had a taster of this, very medicinal so decided not to opt for a pint. Chalked up as 5.2% here. |

1 hour to get here by bus from the wheel. Buses are rubbish and too many micros shut on a Saturday.

Big crowd in. Lots of noise. Strange place to hold a camra meeting. Nice spread provided.

I like this pub, 10 mins walk from Margate station away from central Margate. In a parade of shops you have a long narrow pub that is slightly quirky and I like the maps on the walls.

Second to last pub. Was dark by now with a faint drizzle in the air. The pub was quiet with only 3 others in. We sat near the front and looked at the maps on the wall.
