Quiet, which is a shame as it's a nice pub. The barman was friendly and you can control the music from your phone.

Mid evening visit, good thriving pub but was stiflingly hot and eventually staff opened the separate 2 front doors to create airflow. Sad to see more fizz beer than cask being sold.

First visit to the revamped pub. 2 beers on plus lots of expensive Key kegs not sold in pints but 1/3 or 2/3rds. One stout worked out at £9 a pint. Well it was 13%. Hipster pub, whatever that is?

Closed at end of service today. Pub's Facebook page said: It is with deep regret and heavy heart that as of closing time Saturday 20th May, despite our best efforts, The Ravensgate Arms will call time at the bar for one last time. We would like to offer our heartfelt apologies to all our customers, We are all human and by nature fallible, mistakes are made and lessons learnt. However it has not proved possible to convince authorities that what has taken place here is part of a bigger picture and like all deserve a chance to learn, grow and continue to provide the community with a much needed service. We hope that in the future Ramsgate will find a place for you all to continue building the amazing community that has grown within these four walls and beyond. It has been an absolute pleasure and a joy to provide you with, to the best of our abilities, a place we could all feel a part of. We would also like to thank you all for your continued support and friendship and express how much we have enjoyed our time serving this great community. We hope we can end on a positive note and see you all at the bar over the next couple of days. Peace & love. Team Ravensgate.

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 8NY.
Corner pub in King Street, Ramsgate. It has previously been known as the Hamiltons Tavern and Maguires, reopened by Late Knights Brewery in late 2014 as the Ravensgate Arms who sold cask and keg beers from its own and other independent breweries, it now operates as a Free House since autumn 2016. Check which beers are cask ales and which are keg on a large blackboard. 3 handpumps and 10 keg lines. Closed in May 2017 due to licensing issues. Bare wooden floor boarded throughout. Re-opened under new management on 31st August 2017 after refurbishment and with the involvement of Eddie Gadd from Ramsgate Brewery. Closed April 2023. Subsequently re-opened that year with new name and identity - principally a cocktail type bar with food.
