Lunchtime cycling club meeting. Very pleasant garden and good service. There is a magnificent holm oak tree in the corner of the garden. All 3 beers were in good condition.

Visited at lunchtime. The front bar was quite busy with people enjoying the open fire. We sat in the rear room which started to fill up too. The pub has the feel of an old fashioned coaching inn. I liked it.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Adnams - Broadside4.70GoodVery reminiscent of Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter to be honest. In fact, in a blind tasting that's what I'd have said this was. Maybe the recipe has changed a bit since I last had it.
