I hit Happy Hour here (I think I was in at around 6-7pm) and the pub was busy.

Siren Craft - Dinner for Ten4.10ExcellentGolden. Described as a Vienna lager-style, but has massively ramped-up hop levels which made it taste more like a ‘Session IPA’ to me., although there is a sweet malt background.

An increasing commuter trade throughout my late afternoon/early evening visit. As I was leaving, I noticed the prominent signage about CAMRA discounts - have to remenber that for next time.

Very pleased to discover this pub, right by the railway station and with an enticing cask beer range.

A re-opened and much revived pub standing close to Reading railway station in Greyfriars Road. Something of a showpiece for local independent brewers. The pub is split into two drinking areas. 8 handpumps.
