I think this is just the Greyfriar judging by the signs outside. Friday afternoon and busy getting extremely busy later on. Many beers were running out and being replaced, it was difficult to keep up with what was, and was no longer available because of the crowds at the bar.
Siren Craft - Liquid Mistress Red IPA | 5.80 | | A new cask on to replace something that ran out, absolutely superb. |
Bristol Beer Factory - Fortitude | 4.00
Mad Squirrel (formerly Red Squirrel) - Arán Soda Bread Red | 4.90 | | I had two of these, a very good and interesting red ale brewed in collaboration with Toast Ales. Waste bread makes up 30% of the grain bill. My first pint was very enjoyable but the second one very much end of cask. It was taken off sale soon afterwards. |
Downton - Nelson's Delight | 4.50 | Not Tried
Downton - Honey Blonde | 4.30 | Not Tried
Downton - Mint Chocolypse Stout | 4.90 | Not Tried
Siren Craft - Suspended in Cereal | 4.00 | Not Tried

Vale - Red Kite | 4.30 | Not Tried

Alechemy - Ritual | 4.10 | | A golden, tasty, hoppy Pale Ale in US style. |

Late afternoon and quiet. I remembered to ask for a CAMRA discount.
Binghams - Viennese Whirl | 5.00 | | A bit of a rule breaker. A pale beer, with heavy malt flavours and tasty US hops. |
Derventio - Barbarian | 5.50 | | I didn’t greatly care for this Stout, which was in rather flat condition. |
Arbor Ales - Limelight | 4.50 | | Hard not to think of Lager and Lime when drinking this – although it did go with the weather. |
Hogs Back - HBB | 3.70 | Not Tried
Cotleigh - IPA | 3.90 | Not Tried
Wild Weather - Serendipity | 3.50 | Not Tried

RedWillow - Headless | 3.90 | Not Tried
RedWillow - Feckless | 4.10 | Not Tried
05 Oct 2016 (Stephen Harris)
Time for a quick one before the train to London.
Harbour - New Zealand Gold | 4.40 | | Amber-coloured. Oddly, it seems to have no aroma at all (hidden beneath a creamy head?). Hop flavours also a little more subdued than expected. |
