Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter | 4.00 | I really must ask them to take the sparkler off. Bit too creamy and lacks the intensity and bite of some of the better pints of this beer, but I would still happily sit there all evening drinking it. |

The pub is found in Ashford, Kent, TN23 7TG.
Former Hooden on the Water, and before that the Smiths Arms. Old red brick building on the River Stour in Rugby Gardens, off Torrington Road. Now opposite the designer shopping outlet. Remains a low ceilinged pub with charm, wood floorboards and wooden furniture. Bar has 4 handpulls. Two rooms, the bar and side room for diners. Rear garden for better weather.
