Pleasant and relaxed evening visit although for some reason I found the seating rather cramped annd uncomfortable tonight.

A busy Saturday afternoon. I notice that Steve is going to stop accepting cash payments from 19 July which is a shame as I do not like using plastic for small amounts of money.

Early afternoon visit and comfortably busy. One gentleman arrived who does not own a computer or mobile 'phone and he had difficulty registering on the pub's track and trace screen as it asks you for an email address and will not let you in without one. Sometimes there is just no substitute for pen and paper but that did not seem to be available. Somebody went to the screen and signed him in as qwerty@..com and that gave him access to the pub.

I was the first customer in at 4pm opening time, the place soon became comfortably busy. Steve informed me that he hopes to start opening on Mondays once a suitable member of staff has been recruited.
