Nethergate (was Nethergate Growler for a while then name reverted) - GB Pride3.40GoodFully rebranded as a Growler brew, this was a dark brown bitter with sweetish maltiness dominating and little hop character. Fairly fruity finish. My score 15/20.

After work visit. Unexpectedly un-crowded here when all other pubs around were packed. Yet again I am unimpressed with the beer quality here. Hold on...., perhaps the two things are connected?
BeerABVScoreNotes
Conwy (Bragdy Conwy) - Honey Fayre4.50GoodA nice amber, malty base with perhaps a little too much honey flavour giving a sweetish pint but with a dry finish.
Idle - Golden Crown3.80AcceptableA smooth, golden-coloured, hazy beer with a very fruity hop taste. Some sharpness, but whether this was intended I do not know as the beer was flat and warm.
Conwy (Bragdy Conwy) - Celebration Ale4.20PoorDull brown bitter. Sour and out-of-condition. I left half of my half on the table. Nothing to celebrate.

I came here with a group of friends after a day spent watching international cricket at the Oval. We just made it here in time to watch the European Championship football final on TV. Unexpectedly it was very busy on a Sunday evening, with a great many Spanish people present to watch the match and viewing was not entirely comfortable.
BeerABVScoreNotes
