Spur of the moment, late afternoon visit. I see that there has been a reduction to six in the number of handpumps on the bar counter.

Once a regular here, I had stopped going after suffering a run of poor beers, and there are plenty of other good pubs in the area. But I decided to watch the first half of the Scotland game here on TV. The pub has been refurbished and now has much more comfortable seating.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wooden Hand - Somer Ale4.00AcceptableA golden beer with what I think of as a ‘corn’ taste, which I think comes from the use of low quality / cheap malt. I’m probably wrong on this and stand ready to be corrected.
