1945 and my first visit here. Very impressive building, lots of different rooms, mainly for dining, with a wide choice of varied furniture to make use of. Quality food menu looked good too. 3 ales on and good value too at £2.65 p/pint. Shall return here again for sure.

Country style hotel/pub/restaurant on one of the main roads into Maidstone. Multi roomed and rather pleasant to have a drink or a meal.

This was my first visit here. It was welcoming and comfortable, and quite busy with people coming in for food. It would appear that Harvey's Sussex Bitter is regularly available, but the clip was turned around on this visit.
