Evening. Very busy indeed with large and small groups.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70AcceptableSeemed bland and metallic. The nearest I got to the usual and distinctive Shep's floral hops was an after-burp when in the street outside

Late evening. Quick visit as had heard the new Whitstable Bay Pale Ale was on here
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - The Faversham Steam Brewery - Whitstable Bay Pale Ale3.90AcceptableOK but very bland - no outstanding flavours. Why oh why does the clip at point of sale not state the brewing provenance as being Shepherd Neame - presumably to mislead the unwary?

I hoped to get some of Shepherd Neame's First Class from their Pilot Brewery as this pub had ordered four casks of it. I was too late, it had all been drunk before I got there, but I did enjoy relaxing with my pint of Master Brew Bitter.

The pub is found in Faversham, Kent, ME13 8PE.

Splendid pub / hotel / restaurant in Preston Street located right opposite the station entrance, with original Victorian bar back, although sadly, the snob screens disappeared a few years ago. 5 handpumps sported on the bar here in banks of 2 and 3.

We have visited this pub 26 times, seen 14 different beers and tried 7 of them.
