22 Nov 2013 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening. Very busy indeed with large and small groups.
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | | Seemed bland and metallic. The nearest I got to the usual and distinctive Shep's floral hops was an after-burp when in the street outside |
Shepherd Neame - Late Red | 4.50 | Not Tried
23 Jul 2013 (Philip Pirrip)
Late evening. Quick visit as had heard the new Whitstable Bay Pale Ale was on here
Shepherd Neame - The Faversham Steam Brewery - Whitstable Bay Pale Ale | 3.90 | | OK but very bland - no outstanding flavours. Why oh why does the clip at point of sale not state the brewing provenance as being Shepherd Neame - presumably to mislead the unwary? |
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried
19 Mar 2013 (Philip Pirrip)
Early evening.
Shepherd Neame - Early Bird | 4.30 | | Surprised to find a 60p pp premium price over Master Brew Bitter |
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried
30 Oct 2012 (Philip Pirrip)

Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | | Not exciting - I was not impressed |

30 Jun 2010 (ChrisE)
I hoped to get some of Shepherd Neame's First Class from their Pilot Brewery as this pub had ordered four casks of it. I was too late, it had all been drunk before I got there, but I did enjoy relaxing with my pint of Master Brew Bitter.
