Early evening. This pub has some nice, surviving, turquoise tiles which I had not noticed before, along the former corridor access to the back bar.

Best pub of the day. I have passed this house hundreds of time on the bus. Recently saw a London Drinker magazine advertisement so gave it a try. Seems if you do not specify you will be served your pint of real in a handled dimple jug. 4 handpumps (1 for cider) plus several cider / perry polypins behind the bar. 2215 hours and good hubbub of conversation. They have their own round and square very attractive beermats.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Windsor & Eton - Conqueror5.00ExcellentBlack IPA time. Good for the end of session

A nice little beer and cider festival going on here, with plenty of good beers coming through on three handpumps and a stillage cooled by wet towels. A shame I had time only to stay for two pints.
