Visits Details

12 Nov 2016 (Blair)
First visit to this place and I was impressed, one of the more comfortable and atmospheric train station pubs I've been to. Very busy on a Saturday evening but staff were doing a good job getting everyone served.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - ESB5.50ExceptionalMight just be the best pint of this I've had. Often seems to lack condition in fullers pubs, at least in my experience. Top notch.
31 Oct 2016 (Stephen Harris)
Very busy and a little uncomfortable in the early evening. I list beers additional to the list already recorded today by Jack William.

A busy Saturday and a good range of beers on as usual, I have not attempted to list them all here.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Chiswick3.50ExcellentWow, it is good to see Chiswick on sale again, I think they have only brought it back as a seasonal brew.
17 Apr 2016 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening. On shelves on the bar back the pub has bottles of Fuller's Vintage Ale, there is a year 2000 one on sale for £223 odd!

Evening visit permitted by chaotic train service delays. I give up sometimes - one barman was disgracefully short measuring cask ales but the customers I prompted to ask for a top up shrugged their shoulders and accepted a 35p - 45p shortfall as an inevitability.

Weird Beard - Little Things That Kill3.80ExcellentI really liked this - not as "violently hoppy" as the pump clip claimed - but very good all the same.

18:44 We had been told that the Vintage Ale was on handpump. We were not disappointed. The pub was the usual bear garden.
