As always, it was a bit of a job to find somewhere to stand so that I could put my pint down and write something, but I did in the end. 3rd pub of a great crawl and my third cracking pub in a row.
St Peter's - Ruby Red Ale | 4.30 | | Fruity best bitter, bit of sweetness in mouth and then dry bitterness in mouth. Nothing is too flashy, but the whole is good. |
St Peter's - Mild | 3.70 | Not Tried
St Peter's - Grapefruit Beer | 4.70 | Not Tried

Late Friday afternoon and I was lucky to get a table. Wonderful pub. Dickensian feel. I sat here for a couple of hours just enjoying myself.
St Peter's - Spiced Ale | 4.70 | | Woody is my first reaction. Certainly strong in ABV. Woody spicey aroma, oily old ale feel in mouth, hot apple peel flavour on end. Some bitter dark choc. Oily texture suits it. Long finish. Not unpleasant, but certainly unusual. |
St Peter's - Mild | 3.70 | | So, on air pressure. Smooth warmish, tasty mild with good roasted malts balanced by dark fruits and subtle hop sting. |
St Peter's - Organic Best Bitter | 4.10 | Not Tried
St Peter's - Golden Ale | 4.70 | Not Tried
St Peter's - Grapefruit Beer | 4.70 | Not Tried

After a conference in London, I thought that I would treat myself. Didn't take too long to get here and I was expecting it to be packed as it was around 17.20, but I guess it was a Tuesday at the end of the month and people just wanted to get home. Still, a wonderful feel of oldie worldie-ness here.
St Peter's - Suffolk Gold | 4.70 | | Which is gold, funnily enough. Disappearing bubbly white head. Citrus hop aroma. Moderately full in mouth, bit of juicy pale malt, quite tangy fruit. Some earthiness, bit of rose petal on aroma and in mouth. Drying finish is pleasant. Fine and quite drinkable and would be nice on a summer's day |

Interesting little pub with an old world feel about it. Friendly service and a very pleasant drinking environment.
St Peter's - Suffolk Gold | 4.70 | | First pint out of a new barrel. Bit of rose petal followed quickly by a very grapefruity bitterness and quite a lot of orange peel. A bit too grapefuity for me otherwise nice. |
St Peter's - Organic Best Bitter | 4.10 | Not Tried
St Peter's - Lemon and Ginger | 4.70 | Not Tried
St Peter's - Fruit Beer | 3.60 | Not Tried

I like the Dickensian feel of this pub. It's good fun and atmospheric. I was lucky and got a seat at the bar. The rest of the customers were spilling out on the pavement. An enlightened local employer had set a quiz for teams of their staff and they were touring the local pubs around Farringdon answering the questions and having a few drinks.
St Peter's - Old Style Porter | 5.10 | | Dark ruby colour with thin white head. Choc/coffee aroma, fruity in mouth, plums and red fruit. Dry finish. Fruit sweetness lingers. Damson/plum on aroma too. Fruit is really distinctive. Not so much a porter compared with the Harvey's or Fuller's of the afternoon, but nice enough |
St Peter's - Grapefruit Beer | 4.70 | | Hazy gold with sparse white head. Pink grapefruit aroma, pink grapefruit throughout really. Refreshing after a cycle ride here but the malt cereal/hops are pretty much subordinated by the pink grapefruit flavour. Nice though |
St Peter's - Organic Best Bitter | 4.10 | Not Tried

Smallish all wood darkly lit Dickensian pub from the St Peter's brewery. Very good indeed. Upto 6 ales on draught and the fullish range in bottles
St Peter's - Organic Best Bitter | 4.10 | | Mid brown slightly amber beer. Excellent session beer that just pours back, but with enough tasty spicy malt and hops to keep you wanting to come back for more |
St Peter's - Mild | 3.70 | | Not sure about the strength of this one as it seems to have only just been brewed and is not on the website. Black in colour with some burnt malt. Drinkable but a little unremarkable |

St Peter's Brewery tied pub near Farringdon station. Excellent little pub with lots of wood and small drinking areas. Can get busy with standing room only after work in the week
St Peter's - Cream Stout | 6.50 | | Black in colour. Good burnt malt nose and flavour. Really good stout flavour. Excellent finish very dry |
St Peter's - Old Style Porter | 5.10 | | Black in colour. Burnt malt on nose. Burnt malt in mouth with some fruit. Long dry flavoursome hop bitter finish |
St Peter's - Best Bitter | 3.70 | | Ruby brown colour with interesting hop nose. Served a bit too cold, but with good hops on the end. Could do with being a bit more malty to balance |

St Peter's brewery pub with up to 6 beers on air pressure plus more or less the full range in bottles. Wonderful on a winter's evening. From the outside it looks like a Dickensian pub with the candle light and real wood interior seen through the square window paines. Beer is kept well and served well.
St Peter's - Organic Best Bitter | 4.10 | | Good malt and lasting bitterness makes you want to keep tasting it |
St Peter's - Lemon and Ginger | 4.70 | | Wonderful mix of stem ginger and lemon taste |
St Peter's - Golden Ale | 4.70 | | Fuller, more alcoholic than the organic best with good malt, but not as hoppy |
St Peter's - Spiced Ale | 4.70 | | Bit of an oddity, but worth a half just to try it |
