A late lunch taken here. I’m not pointing any fingers, but I then experienced 48 hours of upset stomach. No doubt just a coincidence.

Sunday lunchtime and reasonably busy. I like the front half of the pub and even the food serving area at the back with a bit of an open kitchen.

Evening. Almost everyone seemed to be dining.

13:30 visit. Came to a very breezy Deal for a small gathering of classic bikes on nearby Walmer Green, and after a stroll around town and along the pier, took a breather in this latest JDw outlet in Kent. Busy all round and a decent guest ale range noted. A nice, very modern conversion job. The pUb sIgnaGe, InSiDe aNd oUt iS amusing and probably unique? Deal is a very pleasant part of East Kent for sure. Note to myself, must visit more often...
