After midnight early morning visit. Nearly stuffed as had been cash only since Friday with the card acceptance system down. Luckily I had £1.60 in coins for a £1.59 Ruddles Best distress purchase.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Greene King - Ruddles Best3.70GoodAfter all the mocking this beer gets I was very pleased with this refreshing ale with good head and lacing even though forced into it as a distress purchase

BeerABVScoreNotes
Southwark - Potters' Fields Porter4.00GoodDistress purchase but did actually enjoy it, in fine condition and a dark, even burnt taste, porter
Greene King - Abbot5.00Not TriedTwo clips showing, either end of the bar. Ordered, paid then turned out not on. Why do Spoon's do this slack customer unfriendly practice, but we know it will never change. Then the next issue was how could Spoon's refund the 20p back once a new choice was made at a lower price

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 521 times, seen 785 different beers and tried 347 of them.
