24 Nov 2017 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until 10pm close. Talk is of hopes to have first Iron Pier brews out in time for Christmas.
Spey Valley - Stillman's IPA | 4.60 | | Condition good but the lemon edge not to my taste, do people really want it or are breweries foisting it on us |
Manchester - King Cotton Best Bitter | 4.20 | | Wet dog traditional mid brown English beer. Unusually for this house poured flat and lost any condition it might have had almost immediately |
Siren Craft - Yu Lu | 3.60 | Not Tried

30 Sep 2017 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until 10pm close. Confronted upon entry by a band of pirates with tricorn hats, cutlasses, pistols, hook hands and an inflated parrot subsequently bitten to flatness by the eager Guv. The theme of the pub's earlier minibus trip to Folkestone, Dover and Barfrestone micropubs? Respect for those still standing and even some drinking malt whiskies!

Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Über Brew | 3.80
Vocation - Heart & Soul | 4.40 | Not Tried

23 Sep 2017 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening until 10pm close during the pub's weekend 3rd birthday celebrations with initially 14 casks on tap on Friday. 10 by my arrival, 8 by my departure!
Dark Star - Imperial Stout | 10.50 | | Very last half out of the cask and oddly better than the one I had 15 minutes earlier, held head and better carbonation. The beauty and mystery of cask ale |
Titanic - Plum Porter Grand Reserve | 6.50 | | The last half screwed out of the cask and as good as ever |
Dark Star - Imperial Stout | 10.50 | | Nearing end of cask |
Titanic - Plum Porter | 4.90 | Not Tried | Others said this was pouring flat and not top notch at all |

04 Aug 2017 (Stephen Harris)
A very pleasant little pub for an early evening visit. I stood out in the back yard that I didn’t know they had, beside the back room that I didn’t know they had.
Yeovil - Yolo #3 | 4.20 | | Golden. Full of lush Citra hop flavours. |
Howling Hops (Brewed at Hackney Wick) - Chocolate Stout | 5.00 | | Great to see this lovely beer (described as a Pudding Ale) in cask-conditioned form. Irresistible. |
Saltaire - Raspberry Blonde | 4.00 | Not Tried
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Red Top | 3.80 | Not Tried
