Corner pub by one of the tram stops. Central bar serves several rooms. Really good feel of a boozer. We had both beers from handpull and cellar runs in the jug too. A real classic pub.
Little Ale Cart - Midlothian | 4.00 | | Pale gold, thin white head. An elderflower type golden ale, good to drink. Very suppable. One of the better golden ales. Really very impressive from a brew pub. |
Little Ale Cart - Green Arrow | 5.00 | | Clear gold, thin white head. Really good aroma, sauvin and simcoes shine through. Its full in mouth. Great hops on finish. |
Salamander - Porcupine Porter | 4.80 | | Very dark brown, verging on black, thin tan head. Decent porter, bit thin on the choc, it’s ok but could be a lot better |
Little Ale Cart - Archibald Sturrock | 4.30 | | Clear gold, thin off white head. It’s ok, a bit of rose petal, bit of hop on the finihs. Fine, if a little dull. |
Cannon Royall (located in White Rabbit) - Hopsters Choice | 4.00 | | Gold, no head. Bit of diacetyl. Not great. Really quite poor. Some hop on end. |
