Skin of the teeth in the door before midnight close, perhaps better if the clock had been fast!
BeerABVScoreNotes
Marston's - Wychwood Hobgoblin IPA (was Ruby Beer, was Hobgoblin)4.50AcceptableMy distress purchase swap out for the Bishops Finger. An awful beer being overly malty at the best of times and tonight was no different
Shepherd Neame - Bishops Finger5.00UndrinkableJust plain rank. Strong metallic smell and battery acid taste. Another customer alleged he had been forced to buy his replacement for one and another was grimacing in the corner and sticking with it. To be fair mine was swapped with good grace.

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 542 times, seen 831 different beers and tried 362 of them.
