BeerABVScoreNotes
Four Candles - Pacific Gem4.40ExcellentA touch pappy in the mouth but well constructed with lime and black pepper
Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Pardoner's Ale3.80Not TriedUmm. Tasted like a weak Saison.

Mid evening - not busy but friendly - good chat with the manager about key keg - this is taking over here and real ales reduced to just a couple, apparently to avoid waste. Four candles magnum triple hop rather nice.

What a lovely pub:I think it was a travel agents back in the day. Gently, calmly busy-people sitting in the street, or at the high tables inside.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Burning Sky - Saison l'Hiver4.20ExcellentI'm unfamiliar with saisons, but I found this a very refreshingly austere hazy beer. On keykeg (I think) dispense.

Evening. Pub is settling in well with mainly maturer customers. Lots of customers trying at least tasters of the 10 fizz ales on offer. My colleague talked me into having a half of one - Cherry Tart - but that is what it was, might have actually benefited from even more fizzing that one.

Evening. My first visit. Only room to stand and somehow I was in the way wherever I did lounge about. Given a look round the cellar room and bemused by the stack of domed KeyKegs in one corner. Other beers details lost in this website's server crash.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hop Fuzz - Yellow Zinger3.70ExcellentFresh on and in excellent nick too
Kent - Prohibition4.80Excellent

Opening night - and crammed. My P&B entry was one of those lost in the great Spring memory robbery of 2016 - pretty sure I had Gadd's (5?) and a strong black IPA - probably Brewdog as they are stocking a wide range of their craft bottles and cans.

Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 54.40Good
BrewDog - Black IPA5.30Good

The pub is found in Canterbury, Kent, CT1 1BE.

Alehouse in Northgate in an attractive and historic ancient half-timbered building which opened on Tuesday 22nd March 2016. There are 2 rooms at the front separated by a low doorway, the left hand one of which has a log burning stove. There is a rear room with low tables and chairs and some sofas. Generally at seat service applies here and the cask ales and ciders are served under gravity dispense from a temperature controlled cellar room at the back. 10 taps on the outside wall of the cellar room dispense KeyKeg beers. All beers and ciders are listed on a large blackboard on the wall partition between the front rooms. Will inevitably be arguments as to whether this is a Micropub or not. Owned by the same individual as The Just Reproach in Deal.

We have visited this pub 40 times, seen 79 different beers and tried 39 of them.
