Fairly busy, particularly in the garden area, for our very pleasant extremely good value lunchtime meal, albeit over a longer period than normal. Heard that Bradley, their one time chef, is due to start again on Monday.

A few in when we went for a bite to eat in the lunchtime. Very good fare and even more so as there was an offer on of a main course and sweet for the price of the main course. Friendly service as usual.

Have not been here for a few months and the furniture inside had changed from very solid bulky table and chairs to something more traditional in the restaurant area. The lunchtime meal was good and great value for OAPs at £4.95 for 2 courses. Service was pleasant as well.

Formerly The Rose, situated in Willesborough in Silver Hill Road, on the way to William Harvey Hospital, this is a lovely pub on the inside. Lots of original wooden beams, uneven floors and open fireplace. Large, pretty garden too. Food is American and there are 3 handpumps on the bar. Seriously damaged by fire on Sunday 27th November 2016 and reopened mid March 2018.

We have visited this pub 107 times, seen 105 different beers and tried 58 of them.
