Brew Wharf - (with Saints & Sinners) Full English Oaked IPA5.60AcceptableQuite bitter with a hint of smokiness. Hoppy and quite dry finish. My score 14/20.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Collaboration (with Kernel)4.50ExcellentPale and very hoppy with extensive use of citrus hops in the brew. Full flavoured with a big fruity citrus finish. My score 16/20.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Sand Ivanhoe's Pale Ale4.30GoodGood citrus hop character to this pale bitter. Some malty sweetness for balance. The finish is fairly dry and fruity. My score 15/20.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Brew Wharf vs Danko Saison6.40PoorNot my style of beer unfortunately. I found it rather sour and spicy with no balance of flavours and a very dry, sharp finish. My score 9/20.

Quite busy but staff did not know how to put CAMRA discount through the till.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Light Black3.30Excellent
21 Jun 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Light Black3.30GoodBlack low alcohol stout with plenty of roast malt character but lacking that body that a higher ABV would give. My score 15/20.
14 Jun 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Truth Nugget3.00AcceptablePale with an absurdly high hop to ABV ratio. The nugget hop is used copiously but rather overwhelms the balance of the beer in my opinion. My score 14/20.
31 May 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - I Schlipped4.60ExcellentApparently a mis brew that should have been 4.0%, but turned out to be an excellent golden coloured hop bomb. Lots of American citrus hop flavours in this and maybe some Pacific too. Full flavoured with a good clean citrus hop finish. My score 17/20.
12 Apr 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Skinny Brown5.90ExcellentAmerican style brown beer. American citrus hop present, but the smooth, toffeeish malt dominates to give a well balanced, flavoursome and dangerously drinkable strong brown ale. My score 16/20.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Stop Short IPA6.50AcceptableAnother hop monster IPA from this brewpub. Lots of dry citrus hop flavours in this with little malt balance. The finish is dry and citrussy. My score 14/20.
