Very busy with a charity music quiz in aid of Cancer Research.

Late evening, I enjoyed a good chat with the other customers, the vast majority of whom drinking cask ales. The barmaid informed me that Old Dairy Copper Top was going to be delivered the next day, and should be available at the weekend.

I had a couple of pints with Ian, and then another one after he left. A busy sports orientated local pub which was getting ready to host its regular Sunday evening quiz. Clive, the landlord, informed us that he is thinking of trying some Old Dairy Copper Top in the near future.

In Beaver Road, 10 minutes south of the railway station. L-shaped corner pub with a pool table down one end. Locals pub with 3 handpumps, juke box, TV and train pictures on the wall. This pub gives a CAMRA members' discount.
