2nd evening visit after unsuccessful jaunt to pub across the road. By now one of the Hartley Morris Men was singing along to his banjo with a very melodious and soulful voice.

Mid evening visit. Good crowd in including some Broadstairs Folk Festival campers doubling as members of the Hartley Morris Men side. Not sure if the massive array of pump clips adorning and obscuring the pub windows is such a good idea.

Evening visit with an accompanying initiate to this house. Meets all requirements of a Micropub and if one suggestion might be made it would be that some soft furnishings / curtains / blinds might dampen the noise levels even when a few are in.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Friday evening and I was pleased to see the pub very busy despite it being the opening night of the Thirty-Nine Steps in town. A good crowd of people and the Kentish cheeses were selling very well.

We arrived just after 12:00 and were the first customers, we had a good chat with the landlord, and with a chap that is hoping to open another micro-pub in Thanet.

I had nothing better to do so came to Broadstairs for first time in ages and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Gold Top here was worth the second pint. Sat talking about dogs battle re-enactments and Sheffield. My type of pub.

First visit to Thanet's latest micropub. Good crowd of people in and a warm welcome from the landlord. The only issue was that it seems to get very noisy very easily because of the hard walls I suppose, small niggle...

For the benefit of anybody who hasn't got a clue where St Peters is, this pub is a short walk from Broadstairs Railway Station. I popped in soon after 12:00 and there were already a couple of chaps enjoying a pint. I picked up a copy of the new edition of the Thanet Loop Pub Guide which is so up to date that it includes both this pub and the Chapel. This was the first full day of opening and there was lots of interest from passers by.

The pub is found in St Peter's, Kent, CT10 2AT.

Located in Sowell Street in former shop premises, converted to become one of Thanet's ever increasing population of micropubs. Like the other micropubs which are becoming a popular part of the East Kent drinking scene this shop conversion is a street corner former shop building with its entrance front door on the corner itself. The real ales and cider are served direct by gravity from casks in the rear temperature controlled stillage room. Access to the toilet is via the stillage room. First opened on the evening of Thursday 9th August 2012 just in time to benefit from the Broadstairs Folk Week starting the very next day. Although the pub name is prompted by a Two Ronnies TV sketch please do not try buying here any hoes, plugs, saw tips, peas, pumps, washers or even billhooks. Just beer and cider should do. A small in-house brewery installation was subsequently made here.

We have visited this pub 51 times, seen 93 different beers and tried 61 of them.
