Having just moved to the area all our stuff was still in boxes so when you can't cook for yourself you go to Wetherspoons of course! Busy.

Busy on a Friday night but not so much so that we couldn't get a seat. The beer was served in plastic glasses.

By Wetherspoon standards this is quite a small pub with a meandering layout. Situated on the sea front in Central Parade so it has good views out to sea. The southeast coastline of England was once known as the Saxon Shore, from the military forts built along it during the late Roman occupation. Today, the Saxon Shore footpath passes along Central Parade and has given its name to this Wetherspoon pub.
