Opening night - and crammed. My P&B entry was one of those lost in the great Spring memory robbery of 2016 - pretty sure I had Gadd's (5?) and a strong black IPA - probably Brewdog as they are stocking a wide range of their craft bottles and cans.

Alehouse in Northgate in an attractive and historic ancient half-timbered building which opened on Tuesday 22nd March 2016. There are 2 rooms at the front separated by a low doorway, the left hand one of which has a log burning stove. There is a rear room with low tables and chairs and some sofas. Generally at seat service applies here and the cask ales and ciders are served under gravity dispense from a temperature controlled cellar room at the back. 10 taps on the outside wall of the cellar room dispense KeyKeg beers. All beers and ciders are listed on a large blackboard on the wall partition between the front rooms. Will inevitably be arguments as to whether this is a Micropub or not. Owned by the same individual as The Just Reproach in Deal.

We have visited this pub 41 times, seen 80 different beers and tried 41 of them.
