Busy in here after work – I suppose it always will be. I decided to give free rein to my inner-German tonight. Unfortunately I have not kept details of other beers that were available.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hellhound - Black Shuck3.90ExcellentAn intensely dry, roasty, black Porter.
Mahr's Bräu - Weisse5.20ExcellentOn keg dispense. Cloudy pale-gold in colour. Has all the German Wheat Beer qualities in spades. Bags of spicy yeast, bananary ester, slightly lemony. Yum Yum.
Licher - Klosterbrauerei Ettal Benediktiner Weissebier5.40AcceptableOn keg dispense. No longer independent, Ettal’s beers are brewed at Bitburger-owned Licher. A hazy-amber colour. Tastes like a German wheat-beer, but not remarkably so. A middle-of-the-road, mainstream version I thought.

A quick pint after work. The pub is barely less crowded than it was on opening night. Furniture has been rearranged and looks better with tables perpendicular to, rather than parallel to, the bar. I no longer have the details of other beers available on this day.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Five Points - Five Points Pale4.40ExceptionalA great Pale Ale on stunningly good form here.

This pub has been trailed for many months and finally opened at 5pm this-afternoon. I was here by 6, by which time it was already jam-packed. Destined, I feel, to be a very busy pub.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Kirkstall - Black Band Porter5.50ExcellentA brilliant, strong, flavoursome Porter that also has a classy hop presence.
