Extremely busy Friday evening. They had a beer festival on, and there were forty beers available, sixteen on handpump, and the rest on gravity. I have not been able to list them all.

| Tower - Black Tower Stout | 4.20 |  | More like a mild than a stout, with low bitterness and lots of sweet, chocolate, toffee and coffee malt flavours. Little in the way of hop presence in this, and a long chocolatey malt finish. My score 17/20 for an excellent strong mild. |
| Castle Rock - Glow Worm | 5.30 | | Billed as a "Wee Heavy Dark Scotch Ale" this didn't disappoint. Full bodied, sweet and malty with toffee and caramel notes and a little fruity hoppiness in the finish. My score 17/20. |

| Arbor Ales - Brigstow Bitter | 4.30 |  | Very bitter with a bitter malty/nutty flavour as well as hoppiness. Not a favourite taste of mine. My score 11/20. |
