Lunchtime visit for our group of 7 - we intended to move on but liked it so much we stayed for a session. Landlady very friendly and not only allowe us to bring in food but provided plates and condiments to go with it.

Got here about 8pm with Gareth and spent an hour or so drinking the porter. Quite busy and friendly as ever.
| Four Candles - Parkers Hazelnut Porter | 4.40 |  | Deep brown. Strong sweet hazelnut flavour. Low hopping. Was brewed originally for the Thanet Beer Festival as a one off but staff at the Parkerville convinced Four Candles to brew them a batch - hence the name. |

Great late afternoon early evening visit to our regular local with Iain and Andrew, great friendly atmosphere, standing room only by the time we left (8pm).
