Not busy for my late afternoon visit to this micropub but good to get out of the wind that had got up. Prompt friendly service. I was surprised to see two mainstream beers on for a micropub as in London Pride and Proper Job but also a couple of other real ales were on from the smaller breweries to interest me.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Bristol Beer Factory - Milk Stout4.50GoodIt came with good head and lacing on this Bristol-based milk stout. A slightly malty first hit and a bittersweet mouthfeel from all the chocolatey infusions therein. A pleasantly dry bitterness lingered.

St Austell - Proper Job4.50Not Tried
Long Man - Best Bitter4.00Not TriedNow the third sighting of this bitter in Herne Bay's five micropubs in the town centre.

Mid afternoon and busy with friendly jovial locals clustered around the bar, we found plenty of space available in the back room to comfortably occupy everyone.

Mid afternoon, quiet, except for the bartender who was rather loud and course. Surprised to see two mainstream ales on.
