18:00 Fairly quiet. Only two beers on as Steve has been very busy brewing. He has bought some Cara Red malt and will be brewing his first red ale.

17:00 Earlier than usual and the pub was rather quiet. The landlady's children came and sat with us. My wife now knows more about loom bands than she did before, and I was tested and found sadly lacking on my knowledge of the cast of Scooby-Doo.
