17:45 Sadly only one guest beer on today. Steve had had problems with the cellar cooler and had held back on ordering until it was repaired. So a couple of pints and then on to the other string to the family's bow, Ry's Bar & Grill, formerly the Bear.

17:40 A day too early. The first brew from the pub's brewery was going to be on sale for the first time on the Friday evening and I had other plans. I did however visit the brewery to see number two brew which had just had the yeast pitched. They did take pity on me however and a sample of the first beer was provided.

Taylor's Attleborough - Number One3.90Excellent90% Maris Otter and 10% Crystal Malt. Biscuity taste to start, good hop note, dry back taste.
Calvors - Lodestar Festival Ale3.80AcceptableThis is from a lager brewery and it showed. Had the aged lager taste that doesn't belong in an ale.

17:30 Good end to a Bank Holiday weekend. Dinner in the oven, and a few beers in the pub whilst it cooks.
