Quiet enough for Adrian, Brian, Pete and myself to get a seat. Lesson of the evening: never show a Conservative Party membership card to someone whose family went through the miner's strike. Good fun though.

Adrian won the toss and we headed for the Dolphin. It was my first visit to this pub and I liked it. Lit candles on the table, plenty of pine and patterned upholstery.

Badger (Hall & Woodhouse) - Tanglefoot (was 4.9%)4.70ExcellentIt was getting late by now and I remember liking this a lot. Reddish brown with a creamy head and good honest flavour.

The Dolphin. Where were the flaggs on the ceiling? Where's the darts board? Where's the 14 year's trying to blag it at the bar? This place has changed - for the better I might add.

Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30AcceptableWhat what I can remember this was passable.

Last of the pubs on mine and Andrew's pub crawl. We were impressed with the upgrade to the pub. Had an interesting conversation with a couple of drunk people.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30AcceptableYes, this was fine. Nice hop flavours.
