First time drinking in Ramsgate for a couple of weeks. 3 guests on and a full pub. All guests 5% plus so I'm happy, others might not be.

Greene King - Abbot Reserve	6.50	Fresh on and superb. At £2.19 with a token can't beat it. Unless u ring Margate.
Wantsum - Golgotha	5.50	Again a quality pint this evening.
Coach House - Blueberry Classic Bitter	5.00	Very nice but a little warm.

Only 3 guests on. This seems to be in quite a few spoons pubs. When it opened it had 12 guests. The normal is 6 in recent years. I had a word with Chris the boss who said he had fewer customers and beers weren't selling. Just reduced the number of ales earlier this year. Sad.

Disappointed in the selection today. Beers not on or going because of the beer festival coming up. None were being replaced.

6 guests on. First real ales since I got back from Croatia and Bosnia last night. Beer in Croatia is more expensive than in Ramsgate! Never thought I'd see the day.

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 8LS.

This building opened as a Wetherspoon's on Tuesday 29 August 2017 and is probably the largest Wetherspoon's in the country. It was designed as a dance hall by architect Stanley Davenport Adshead in 1903 and in later years operated as a casino. On two levels with a bar with 12 handpumps at ground level and another on the 1st floor balcony with 6 handpumps. Open-to-view kitchen on the ground floor. There is a ground floor rear patio and an upstairs outside covered decking area for fair weather drinking and sea and sand views.
