| Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Larkins - Traditional | 3.40 | ![]() | I came in the hope of finding Larkins Porter, but this banished any disappointment in its non appearance:satisfyingly hoppy, with a seasonal fruitiness. Probably my favourite "brown" bitter. |
| Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | ![]() | This is a great beer-it's not dark,it's not chocolately, but I love it! |
| Whitstable - Christmas Pudding | 4.60 | ![]() | The barmaid kindly gave me a taster of this.I'd hoped for a dark , rich, spicy confection, just like its namesake. Unfortunately, it was mid-brown and cloyingly sweet. |
| Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter | 4.00 | Not Tried | A pub that forces me to pass Harveys by:thats praise indeed! |

| Larkins - Traditional | 3.40 | ![]() | Lots of rich malt and that typical Larkin's syrupyness. |

The pub is found in Benenden, Kent, TN17 4DE.
The pub, in The Street, has 3 rooms (with a restaurant room to the side). The main bar area has an inglenook fire place and a large, seated, bay window. To the side is a slightly sunken room and behind that a small snug with its own bar. The pub has lots of oak and lots of character. Letting rooms here. The owner also owns the former Kitty Fisher (formerly known as King William IV) across the other side of the green here which now converted to his private home.
We have visited this pub 73 times, seen 44 different beers and tried 30 of them.
