Brew Wharf - Best | 4.20 | Golden colour. Thin white head, citric flowery hop aroma. Fine in mouth with some biscuity malt. Quite sharp too with drying tangy hop finish. Better than 1st time I tried it. Very astringent hop finish

Brew Wharf - Best | 4.20 | According to the barman, this was the first day that they had sold this beer. They intend to brew 2 beers, one hopped with Goldings and one with Fuggles. Gold colour with no head. Nice distinctive Goldings aroma which is floral and with some toffee. Bit thin in mouth, very little carbonation. Floral aromatic hop finish is nice though. The body of the beer needs some work |

Meantime - Union | 4.90 | Dark brown, chestnut colour, lasting light beige head. Really nice malty aroma with red fruits and toffee. These flavours carry on to the finish which is very drying and gives good balance to the toffee

The pub is found in Southwark, Central London, SE1 9AD.
Opened late September 2005 in between Vinopolis and Borough Market. Accessed from the street via an archway and a courtyard. Large lower ground bar with largish eating area under high vaulted brick ceilings. Feel of a large modern bar. Lots of exposed brick and also seating area out the front opposite the market. Serves Meantime Brewery keg beers from Greenwich and also brewed its own beers for a while. Range of world beers too. May be offering CAMRA card holders a discount so do ask. Real ales sold through 2 handpumps.
We have visited this pub 93 times, seen 98 different beers and tried 90 of them.
