---|---|---|---|
Goacher's - Best Dark Ale (aka Original) | 4.10 | Badged as Best Dark Ale. Dark brown beer. Grainy roasted matl nose, full in mouth with chocolate and caramel malts leading to dry malty finish. Superb dark ale | |
Woodforde's - Wherry | 3.80 | Amber beer. Flowery hoppy nose, good hops and acidity, flowery hop finish. This was top of the barrel and just as this session beer should beer. | |
Larkins - Best Bitter | 4.40 | Very good example of a best bitter. Good balance of malt and hops and well constructed with good flavours | |
Hopdaemon - Golden Braid | 3.70 | Blond session beer. Not as hoppy as it can be, but still has some nice citrus notes | |
Vale - Edgar's Golden Ale | 4.30 | Golden. OK, but a bit bland | |
