Mid Sunday afternoon. Here to meet my daughter and family - she was last here 30 years ago when we ran the place. Very busy with diners - good feel to it.

Early evening - getting set up for diners. Confession time - I was landlord here for 8 months in 1994 - probably the worst project I have ever managed. Lovely historic building and it has been sympathetically brought into the 21st century with a good 19th century feel.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Sharp's - Coaster (or Cornish Coaster)3.60GoodNice, if a little bland.

Like the Hope Inn this was closed for the afternoon but peering in the window I could just about see the bar line-up.

Pubmaster pub on the edge of the village. Lots of wood and old timbers. Nice beer garden. Up to 5 handpumps on normally taking beer from major regionals. They do a steak night which offers a discount on the food
