Laine - Breaker4.10GoodNo detail at point of sale as to which Laine brewery this came from
Intrepid - Solito4.00AcceptableAs murky as a scrumpy cider with no warning it was unfined, if indeed it was. Pretty tasteless and certainly no bitterness

Evening. Plan was for an exploratory single pint but the jazz and funk jam live session was so good I stayed for a couple of hours.

Halloween and the pub was decked out in cobwebs and pumpkins etc. I like this pub. It's nice and relaxed and solid. Here with Alison and Jo and Jane and Isabel for lunch.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Woodforde's - Wherry3.80GoodA cold prevented me from telling too much about this. Tasted fine as far as I could tell.
Eagle (formerly Wells & Young's, formerly Charles Wells, formerly Wells) - Wells Bombardier (now superseded by 4.1% version)4.30GoodI had a cold and couldn't really taste it. Jane said it was good though.

Here for Saturday lunch with Jane, Alison, Jo and Isabel (all the girls!). It's a big pub in the style of an old fashioned boozer. The pub is a big horseshoe itself with wooden floors, comfy horseshoe benches, big wooden bar - you get the picture. Interestingly there's an art gallery (called the Tank Gallery) out the back that's got some good stuff in it if you're into that kind of thing. The barman was relaxed and friendly and it was a nice place to spend an hour.
BeerABVScoreNotes
