Late afternoon and busy with folk watching rugby on the drop down screen. Despite this we enjoyed the cosy comfortable atmosphere and could have stayed much longer had we'd not had a cancelled train to catch!

Well Philip Pirrip told us all to come here so I did. From the outside you may well think twice. It's in an industrial park area about 10 mins walk from the centre of town. Good little pub this. There was a huge screen at one end of the pub (which isn't very big itself) that was showing the Cheltenham races. A number of locals had big bets on and got quite excited when their horses came in.

Evening visit - sooooooo difficult to find but once there who'd want to leave. I ought to issue a subpoena to all contributors and browsers of this website to visit this proper local boozer with its most entertaining guv Eddie.
