Quite quiet. I sat by the window and watched the buses go by and a lonely convenience store shut for the night.

Always thought this was an odd pub. The seating looks geared up for lots of people standing. True later at night I've past and it's been full but I'm always in when it's quiet and it feels like Plymouth's

When I walked in there were no other customers in but there was a pint or lager and a half eaten packet of crisps sitting on the bar. I was only there for half an hour but the owner never did show up. Friendly pub though and I sat and watched the football (which turned out to be a repeat from years ago).

Dark and fairly empty at about 7.30pm. Has the feel of a drinking house with a very open plan, large front bar.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Eagle (formerly Wells & Young's, formerly Charles Wells, formerly Wells) - Wells Eagle IPA3.60AcceptableWatery malt and hops to start with followed by a bland malt hop finish. Umm... what I'd have called a brown bitter not an IPA.
