I had never been here before, I had got the name confused with The Falcon down the road. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pub was hosting a beer festival with lots of ales that I had not tried. There was a total of 54 ales on the list but some had run out, those that I have listed are some of those that were available at the time of my visit. This is a pub that I intend to return to.
Hexhamshire - Devil's Water4.20ExcellentDark, malty, and fruity.
Surrey Hills - Ranmore Ale3.80ExcellentLight in colour, a good flavoursome session ale.
Rooster's - Good Cheer3.70ExcellentPale coloured session beer.
Leeds - Funfair3.60ExcellentThe cask was tipped up as far as it could go, I decided to have one of these before it ran out. A delicious straw coloured beer, aromatic floral notes, and a good finish.

This is a fantastic pub, in fact one of the best I've been to. Eight real ales on. Eclectic mix of people mingling together, brilliant.
