We were here for a friends wedding. The bar is part of the brassiere.

My first visit to this pub since Shepherd Neame purchased it. It will be interesting to see how this place develops under its new ownership.

Fairly busy. Nice place, and a surpise with two Wantsum ales on!

Large old hotel, opposite the historic toll bridge. The pleasant, large and modern bar within is open to all. A comparatively late Shepherd Neame acquisition in 2011. Temporarily not serving food following a fire in the kitchen (July 2019).
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 5 different beers and tried 3 of them.
