22 Dec 2012 (Stephen Harris)
An early departure from London by car saw us ensconced in here at 10:30am for a full breakfast and a couple of beers brewed just down the road at this pub’s sister pub, the Trent Navigation. Good to meet up here with Tony, Alison, Sarah and Bernie – Nottingham friends of very long standing.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Navigation - Pale Ale3.90GoodA golden, balanced pint; fruity and hoppy.
Navigation - Pints of Peace4.80AcceptableA deep red coloured Porter. Fruity, with a hint of sourness.

28 Apr 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
No mild on here, but an interesting substitute. Pub was very busy on a Saturday afternoon.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Rat - Red Rat4.30GoodRuby in colour but the style is American, hoppy and dry hopped with Simcoe. My score 15/20.
02 May 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
A new addition to the Nottingham Mild trail for 2011.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Flipside - Dark Denomination4.00GoodRed/brown beer that is just about classable as a mild. Some biscuity maltiness and low hoppiness leading to a dryish and fairly bitter finish. My score 15/20.
