Buzzing on a Saturday afternoon: we’d been for a walk at the Hucking Estate. I’m sure that this pub is much larger than it was back in the day. Friendly though.

Saturday afternoon:we'd decided against Christmas shopping and went for a walk in the Woodland Trust estate instead. Fairly busy with walkers and family groups;I hadn't been here since the 1970s, when I think it sold Youngs.

Been a Sheps pub for a while...had a nice chat with bar staff before she heads back to uni...and Sheps plan to have new managers in by Feb
Remote pub located in Church Road. High on the North Downs and very close to Leeds Castle. Put on the market by Shepherd Neame who closed it in November 2014. Finally re-opened, after several years of closure, in June 2016.
We have visited this pub 8 times, seen 8 different beers and tried 4 of them.
