Busy showcase for fine Kentish produce on a swelteringly hot Sunday.Had an interesting chat with the Old Dairy stallholder, who sells Kentish beers at Farmers Markets throughout the county,and reminisced about The Smarden Bell.

| Nelson - Loose Cannon | 4.30 | | I've not enjoyed Nelson's bottled beer, but this, on gravity , though probably "bright", but who's counting?-was a good amber best bitter, with a refreshing hop bite, balancing a fruity input from the malts. |
