Very quiet with just a few locals chatting with the landlord.

Early evening. Pretty quiet.
| Consett Ale Works - Furnace | 3.90 | | Ruby red ale. Malty smooth session beer. Coffee/chocolatey nose akin to a porter. |
| Camerons - Project Pride | 4.30 | | Trial beer for Camerons upcoming cask range. Golden brown ale with slight fruit notes. Typical camerons sour malt aftertaste. Nice and drinkable. |

| Mithril - A66 (formerly Route A66) | 4.00 | Not Tried | Small local brewery. Was next pint on the cards but time ran out. |

Quiet on sunday compared to saturday. Sadly they hadn't changed any beers over either.
| McEwan's - 80 | 4.00 | | This was the cask version at 4.2%. Decent. Roasted malt predominant. Definitely sessionable. |
| Cleveland - Ironmaster | 4.00 | | Perhaps a touch generous on rating the night before. Quite thin and lack of body. Still ok though. |
| Wall's - Summer Gold | 3.60 | | Same as last night. Light hops but long in the aftertaste. Decent. |
| Black Sheep - Best Bitter | 3.80 | Not Tried | |
| Milestone - Raspberry Wheat Beer | 5.60 | Not Tried | Had a taster. Too rich for a pint. Or even a half I think. |
