Mid evening visit on a chilly June Wednesday. Several in.This pub reopened earlier this Spring after a prolonged period of closure. Sympathetically refurbished, perhaps a bit more comfortable than hithertofor. The old games room/cellar to the rear is now laid up for dining.

Lunchtime visit, I had not been here for very many years when there were three pubs in the village, now it is down to just the one. I had a good chat with the long standing landlord and found the place very welcoming. We stayed until 3pm closing.

The pub is found in Biddenden, Kent, TN27 8AH.
In High Street the only pub left in the village. Beamed interior in what is probably a 1400s build. Found closed June 2023 with repossession notice in window. Reported sold by Stonegate Pub Group to a new owner. Re-opened 11th April 2024.
