I had never been here before but it has appeared in the 2012 edition of the Good Beer Guide so I decided to visit. Unfortunately Thorley Taverns sold the pub to persons currently unknown at about the same time that the guide was published. The manager is hopeful that it will continue as a pub under the new ownership.

Formerly known as The Saracen's Head, this is a comfortable pub at the top end of the pedestrianised area of Margate High Street. Owned for a while by the local Thorley Taverns group but they sold it on in 2010.
